About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Data Business Analyst to support a major cloud migration project. This role involves working closely with technical teams to analyse, design, and transition legacy data warehouse feeds to modern cloud-based platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of legacy data feeds, including schema structures, transformations, access controls, and queries, to assess suitability for cloud migration.
• Design optimised data models and structures for the new cloud platform, ensuring consistency, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with data engineers and architects to document changes in schemas, transformation logic, and query structures for the cloud environment.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases for data pipelines to ensure data quality, integrity, and functionality throughout the migration life-cycle.
• Support data discovery and analysis activities to enable smooth migration and integration.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Data Business Analyst in large-scale data migration or cloud transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, schema design, and data modelling principles.
• Hands-on experience with data analysis, transformation logic, and query optimisation.
• Ability to create and execute test cases for data pipelines
• Hands-on experience in AWS.
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Active Security Clearance required.
